Anne Havard serves as the Deputy Chief Resilience Officer for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville-Davidson County. Located in the Mayor’s Office of Resilience, Anne is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of Nashville’s resilience strategy. In addition, she supports equitable economic development and anti-poverty initiatives through research, writing, and philanthropic relationships that support Nashville’s economic resilience. Anne previously served as thePolicy Assistant for the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and Empowerment (OEOE) as well as Special Assistant for Policy on Mayor Barry’s mayoral campaign. Prior to coming to local government, Anne worked in the non-profit sector, where she gained experience in grant writing, non-profit management, homelessness outreach, and permanent supportive housing transitions.
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Anne is interested in cross-disciplinary urban policy for creating equitable and resilient communities.
