Cathy Coyle in 2012 was named the City of Tampa’s manager of planning and urban design in its Department of Planning and Development. She was the project manager for Tampa’s Rose Fellowship team in 2012, which under Mayor Bob Buckhorn (a Rose Center advisory board member), focused on revitalizing the Hillsborough Riverfront. In addition to serving as the city’s zoning administrator since 2006, she also oversees strategic planning, where she is charge specifically with implementing the recommendations from the city’s engagement with the Rose Center. She is a member of ULI’s TOD Council.
