Jeremy Klop, AICP, is a Principal at Fehr & Peers in Los Angeles with over 20 years of experience in multimodal transportation planning, traffic operations, and community engagement. At Fehr & Peers, Jeremy serves as the firm’s Director of Strategy and leads the company’s downtown Los Angeles office.
His work includes large-scale transportation plans such as LA’s Mobility Plan 2035 and Blueprint Denver as well as transit and active transportation projects like the award-winning LA Union Station Master Plan, LA County’s Active Transportation Strategic Plan, and Metro’s Quality of Life Study. He is currently working on strategies to address the rapidly changing transportation technology environment through the development of interactive data analysis tools, data sharing policies, new metrics for street performance and transportation happiness, and partnerships with new mobility providers.
Jeremy also serves as an instructor for the APA Emerging Professionals Institute, frequently lectures and trains practitioners through UC Berkeley Tech Transfer in Complete Streets, and co-authored the Pedestrian & Bicycle chapter of the ITE Transportation Planning Handbook. Jeremy received his BS in Biology from Calvin College and his Master’s degree in regional planning from UNC-Chapel Hill.
