Bob McDonaugh is the City of Tampa’s acting Economic Development Administrator and Urban Development Manager for two of the City’s most dynamic and visible districts. He brings a wealth of public and private development experience to the position, along with a great deal of enthusiasm.
Prior to this position, McDonaugh held a development position with Equity One, a publicly traded REIT that owned and operated more than 200 shopping centers in the southeast U.S. He was a development partner with Tampa based Hunt Douglas Real Estate Services, where he developed retail properties in Florida, Colorado and Arizona. McDonaugh’s prior public sector experience includes five years as the Port of Tampa’s real estate manager. He also spent 8 plus years with CB Richard Ellis as a downtown office specialist.
McDonaugh has lived in the City of Tampa for 39 years and has served as a volunteer for several area organizations including; the City of Tampa Variance Review Board, Better Business Bureau, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Tampa Bay Little League. He is a graduate of the University of Tampa with a degree in Economics.
