The future of Boeing Co.’s former C-17 manufacturing site is still unknown, but an expert panel advising Long Beach officials said Saturday that city leaders have about three years to figure out a plan for area. The Rose Center for Public Leadership, affiliated with the National League of Cities and Urban Land Institute, assembled experts from the realms of local government and private development to help City Hall plan for future development at and around the C-17 site.
