City gets outside advice on downtown Rochester

Leaders from three other cities toured Rochester’s downtown Wednesday to help local officials figure out how to revitalize Main Street and tap the potential of the Genesee River and Broad Street aqueduct. The team includes leaders from Birmingham, Alabama; Denver, Colorado; and Long Beach, California. Along with Mayor Lovely Warren, they were selected for a fellowship this year organized by the Rose Center for Public Leadership to help cities tackle land use challenges. Read the full article.
