Workshops & Conference Sessions

The Rose Center hosts workshops on urban development topics, often in partnership with ULI District Councils, with the generous support of program sponsors. Workshop group working on city diagram around table The center also organizes conference sessions at the annual meetings of its two parent organizations, the National League of Cities (NLC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI), that prominently feature alumni of its two fellowship programs in land use and economic development and showcase the work of their cities, and partners with ULI’s Urban Plan program to deliver a one-day version of its famed development simulation game specially adapted for public officials.
